EDUCATION & ENABLEMENT

Help people build judgment they can carry forward.

I teach the thinking behind the tools. Whether I’m leading a team, teaching a classroom, or sharing experiments online, my aim is the same: make complex ideas practical and help people grow their own confidence.

IN THE CLASSROOM

Teach for the practice designers are entering.

At Algonquin College, I teach UX and UI in the Mobile Applications Design & Development program. I redesigned the UI course in 2024 to reflect current industry expectations and, in 2026, brought real-world AI workflows into the curriculum. Students learn core interaction and visual design principles while practicing how to use emerging tools thoughtfully.

My teaching draws on product work, not theory alone: explain why a pattern works, show how to test an assumption, and give learners a chance to make and revise their own decisions.

IN THE TEAM

Make knowledge part of the work.

Enablement is also a leadership responsibility. I create space for critique, share the reasoning behind standards, and coach designers through unfamiliar problems rather than prescribing every answer. With AI-assisted methods, I pair practical demonstrations with discussion about judgment, quality, and the human consequences of product decisions.

IN THE OPEN

Share experiments while they are still useful.

Through my YouTube channel, I document applied AI design experiments—from Figma AI and Claude with Figma MCP to prompt-driven workflows and generative prototyping. I’ve published more than 100 AI design tutorials, sharing practical workflows and the lessons behind them so other designers can adapt what works instead of treating new technology as a black box.

The subscriber figure above uses a small page-level JavaScript setting so it can be refreshed easily. For an automatically updated public count, the site needs a public endpoint that supplies YouTube channel statistics; YouTube’s official API requires a key, so the page does not call it directly.

I share more frequent writing and reflections on LinkedIn, where I engage with designers and product leaders about AI-native workflows, design education, and how our practice is changing. Those conversations help me test ideas in the open, learn from the community, and bring fresh perspectives back into my teaching and team work.

WHY IT MATTERS

Capability compounds when learning is shared.

When people understand the principles and the reasons behind the work, they can adapt to new tools and situations without waiting for a playbook. That is how education supports stronger teams: it spreads confidence, raises the quality of decisions, and leaves people better equipped for the next challenge.
